"Cantir Decanter In Blown Spiral Glass - Catalonia Spain Glassware Early 18th Century"
Cantir (decanter in south of Europe) in clear translucent blown glass with spiral white threads.
Catalonia, Spain, Early 18th century glassware.
Pear-shaped body in spiral glass, with filling neck lined with a thick blue net, and a tubular pouring spout.
Surmounted by a ring handle decorated around the edge with blue fillets on the clip, and a blue glass bird.
The body is decorated with four blue flowers. Hemmed bell foot.
Good condition, great lightness in hand.
Note: a very small lack of the flower at the bottom of the spout.
Size: 27cm x 14cm.
Diameter of the body: 11 cm
Diameter at the foot: 10.5 cm
