"Very Beautiful Large Tray In Glass Engraved By Gruber, All Original, 52 Cm Era Daum Galle 1900"
Nice large glass tray engraved by Jacques Gruber (1870-1936). A very beautiful object, this tray with Vosges decor in etched glass. The layers of glass are really very thin and required great mastery of the acid. A rendering with a beautiful depth, these fir trees in the foreground, the lake and this setting sun. Nice original wooden frame with also, and I insist, the original bronze handles (which is not always the case). Everything is original. This is the large model (available in a smaller format) Dimensions with handles: 52 cm by 22 cm, very good condition (small scratches from use, without consequences). Signed, around 1900-1910 A very beautiful art-nouveau object, entirely original, rare and beautiful signature!
