Fireback from the chinoiseries of François Boucher (1703-1770) from the 18th century, very finely crafted and in perfect condition. Splendor of the great Mughals, this plate illustrates the service of a great Mughal seated cross-legged on a carpet accosted by two figures carrying a canopy garnished with exotic fruits and surmounted by two dragons.
