"Large Antique French Napoleon III Era Guilloche Sterling Silver Tray - Antique Busts - +3 Kg"

Antique Napoleon III era Sterling Silver Serving Tray of rectangulat form with a guilloché background, and a central cartouche with an interlaced monogram. The perimeter is embellished with eight applied medallions of female busts in the antique style, and handles are attached to the tray with "à la grecque" mounts. Very finely crafted from the highest quality silver, it is punched with the Mercury 1st standard hallmarks (.950), applied to French silver items intended for export. This magnificent , very decorative Napoleon III period tray in very good condition, moreover revised and cleaned by our Goldsmith, some expected wear from use on the guilloché and micro-scratches to note. Please disregard reflections in photos.
