17th Century Style Napoleon III Jewelry Box

Jewelry box or cassette in marquetry of amboyna burl, rosewood, amaranth, ebony and brass. A rare model with a domed lid, it is in the Louis XIV style and from the Napoleon III period - mid/late 19th century. Our box is complete with its key. The cartridge does not bear a monogram: you can engrave it with your number or coat of arms. Very good condition, varnish with the original pad which has been cleaned. No lack of plating or decor.
