Jacques Cinquin discovered the art of tapestry at the age of 25 in 1967 and leaves Paris to settle in Aubusson where he was very early professor at the ENAD, the National School of Decorative Art of Aubusson. Painter of the circus, but also of feminine sensuality, he will treat, among other things, his two favorite subjects on all supports, oil on canvas, watercolors and of course tapestry cartoons, exploring just as well the freedom of abstraction and the interpretation of the figurative with as much mastery as happiness.
