Ewer and a plain silver basin by the master goldsmith Rémy Chatria, Paris, 18th century. The ewer is baluster-shaped, it rests on a pedestal with a gradient of nets, the body is molded with rushes, and engraved with the coat of arms of a Knight, the hinged lid is topped with a button, the butt handle is winding. master goldsmith Rémy Chatria received in 1724, Paris 1730-1731. The basin has contour fillets and tucked ends, engraved in its center with the same coat of arms of Chevalier, without goldsmith's hallmark Paris 1744-50. Total weight 1716g. Height of the ewer 23 cm. The basin 33 cm long, 23.5 cm wide and 6 cm high. Condition, good, the ewer is very well punched, for the basin we can guess the date letter which is partially legible.
