 Art Deco earthenware pitcher by Simone Larrieu, decoration of stylized polychrome enamel flowers on a light beige background. In perfect condition, it is signed S. Larrieu on the base. Height 25.5cm

Octave Larrieu and his daughter Simone work together in their workshop of ceramic near Tarbes in French Pyrenees. They practise the stoneware and the earthenware with painted or relief sets according to Simone Larrieu's drawings. Painter, pastellist, Simone Larrieu creates the main part of the sets for the family workshop.
