Beautiful Louis XVI style lamp base in silver plated bronze dating from the end of the 19th century or the very beginning of the 20th century from the C. Berlie & co house in Lyon. High quality of manufacture and carving. Decor of garlands, tied ribbons and friezes of waves. The original condition is very satisfactory, minimal wear to the silver plating. Electricity formerly redone, functional and to standards for bayonet bulb. The lampshade that I present is old but in very good condition, I provide it if you wish. The base of the foot is weighted with lead and bears the stamp: BERLIE & CO à LYON. The weight of this lamp (3.3 kg) ensures perfect stability.
