Bronze plaquette, Christ carring his cross, Germany, 19th century

This plaquette depicts the Christ wearing a tunic and carrying his cross on right shoulder. At the bottom on the frame is written: "JESUS TRÄGT SEIN KREUZ MIT GEDULD" (Jesus carries his cross with patience).

Excellent condition, brown patina (lack of patina on nose tip). A hanging ring on the back.
