"Clock Movement"
We are presenting this cartridge clock mechanism (12) with a Regency period hand, we can see in the center of the dial the effigy of the future King Louis XV as a child. A cut-out brass gallery acts as a pediment. This movement is entirely in its own juice and has not undergone any transformation. The exhaust is in the back as it should be. The two side doors are missing, some very superficial traces of rust are present in certain places of the mechanics. The cogs are in bronze or brass. Very good general condition for this movement from the first half of the 18th century. (E23)
