"Pair Of Porcelain Vases, Louis XVI Style."
These very beautiful porcelain vases are in the spirit of objects produced in Tournai. Ovoid in shape, they rest on a pedestal, the tight collar and the foot are slightly twisted. Louis XVI style, they are painted on the body, in red shades, ruins in landscapes, on each side is a polychrome goat's head and the neck and the foot are decorated with friezes of curves and counter-curves on a pale green background, garlands and small bouquets of roses. In excellent condition, however I must point out small lacks at the tip of two horns. They carry on the back an apocryphal mark of Tournai. Late 19th century period. Height 38cm.
