Beautiful 19th century painting, oil on canvas signed lower left Edouard Dufeu, representing a still life with a soup tureen, lobster and crayfish, placed on a table. Rare composition in chiaroscuro in the manner of Manet taking up the theme of Bodegones. Protective relining, very small repaint on the top left edge, all in good condition in its original gilded wood key frame. Exhibition label from the Léonce and Paul Rosenberg gallery on the back between 1906 and 1911, annotation by the owner Mrs le Comte de Tournemire. All in good condition, see photos.
