French work, 18th century Chest of drawers from the Louis XV period Louis XVI transition stamped by the master cabinetmaker Francois Rubestuck. (1722-1785) Cabinetmaker. Paris. Master on May 7, 1766. In rosewood and amaranth veneer, medallion with marquetry of cubes in the central part, chiseled bronze ornamentation. Topped with its gray Sainte-Anne marble, projection front distributing a top drawer opening in two parts and two large drawers below. The uprights are cutaway with imitation grooves in marquetry, low crosspiece adorned with a lamp base. Stamped F.RUBESTUCK on the left rear upright and right front upright, entirely period furniture with some time wrinkles.
