The rare cup and saucer with a hand-painted overglaze decoration of two farmers with a buffalo in a natural landscape.
An identical cup and saucer can be found in the collection of Princessehof Museum Leeuwarden (object number QNO 00688).
Dimensions:
Cup: Height 3.8 cm, diameter 7.3 cm.
Dish: Height 2 cm, diameter 11.6 cm.
Condition:
Cup: Very fine hairline of approx. 1 cm. (hardly visible, see last photo).
Saucer: Perfect with small enamel flake at the bottom right of the right figure.
