Antique 18 th Century fan. The leaf is made of silk lined with skin, it is painted in gouache with a charming scene where lovers are about to release birds, it is also sewn with metallic sequins. It was repeated later. Usual wear on the leaf visible in the photos, the frame is in good condition. The fan measures 11,02 inches closed and 20,47 inches in diameter open. France, circa 1780.
