"Bernardi Old Empire Miniature Painting Portrait Of Napoleon Deathbed 19th"
Rare old painting from the beginning of the 19th century, representing the portrait of Napoleon on his deathbed before his burial. Beautiful unpublished and idealized miniature, made with precision by Bernardi (C. Bernardi fecit top left) painter active in Rouen in the first quarter of the 19th century. Small wear on the top edge, the sheet having slipped a little from its original frame in ebony veneer (small lack at the top right).
