Charles Paul Renouard, born in Cour-Cheverny (Loir-et-Cher) in 1845 and died in Paris in 1924, was a French painter and engraver. Paul Renouard obtained a gold medal at the Paris Universal Exhibition of 1889 and 1900. He was named Chevalier of the Legion of Honor in 1893. He was a professor at the National School of Decorative Arts in Paris in 1903 His works are kept at the Louvre Museum and or Museum of Modern Art of the City of Paris (series on English life), at the National Museum of Western Art in Tokyo, at the Royal Library of Belgium, or at the library-museum of the Paris Opera (series on dance and the Opera), at the fine arts museums of Tours, Limoges, Blois
