The description of the twelve slides are :

Number 1 : The Vessel is Icebound

Number 2 : A Polar Bear is Shot

Number 3 : An Enormous Bear and Cubs are killed

Number 4 : Skinning the Bear

Number 5 : Some of the Crew

Number 6 : The Officers

Number 7 : A Whale is Captured (but this is a mistake as we clearly see that it is a narwhal)

Number 8 : And Hoisted up from the Deck

Number 9 : Stripping the Flesh from Bone

Number 10 : Cutting out Whalebone

Number 11 : Scraping the Whalebone

Number 12 : Homeward Bound
