"Old High Brutalist Farm Stool In Solid Wood"
Superb brutalist-style farmhouse Entirely in solid beech, it is purely handcrafted, using assembly techniques often found in farm and country furniture of the time. The 4 legs are inserted directly into the seat, without hardware, which takes on a half-moon shape. The 4 feet are connected 2 by 2 by a spacer. The workmanship is irregular, in the pure brutalist style of country furniture, but it is nonetheless of high quality, with a solid piece of furniture that will last over time. The tint has taken on a rather nice dark brown patina, there are some traces of life, but it is sound. What makes it so charming is its height, which is unusual on this style of stool. After being used for more than a century in a farm in the Périgord Noir, it will be perfect in front of a pretty bar, or as an extra seat. It can also act as a harness to support a lamp or a vase.
