Brooch - gold photo holder, eagle's head hallmark. The barrette is finely chiseled with pink gold interlacing. It supports a chiseled and pierced medallion with the same decoration. Two bands of green gold frame a line of sugar-loaf cut turquoises. It opens with a hinge and contains a small pivoting mirror, to slip souvenirs or photos into. Total height: 6 cm Medallion height with bail 5.5 cm Weight: 12.3 g French work from the Napoleon III period
