Beautiful Rhine wardrobe from the XVII th century and of Renaissance inspiration.
of reasonable proportions this cabinet is in rosewood veneer on oak and blackened wood.
it is in excellent condition and has been completely overhauled at the workshop.
it can be assembled and disassembled very easily thanks to an ingenious assembly of origin with reminder screws. it opens on the front with two doors releasing shelves and a long drawer.
the doors and sides are heavily paneled in relief with a contrast between blackened wood and rosewood. the uprights, the doors are carved with garlands of flowers and fruits.
the large floral fall in the center hides a secret intended to conceal the keyhole.
the high cornice is adorned with a large central coat of arms decorated with an angel's head and a lion's head.
we find the heads of lions at the corners of the cornice.
very good quality of sculpture inspired by the renaissance.
it rests on loaf feet, or ball feet at the front, in blackened oak and straight feet at the back.
the key has been changed over time.
