Bronze subject, with golden patina, depicting Krishna. Divinity of compassion, tenderness and love, Krishna is the eighth incarnation of Vishnu who is one of the three great gods of Hinduism. Krishna is represented standing on his altar, his legs crossed, playing his flute with the head of an elephant. This subject, entirely chiselled with Indian motifs, rests on an eventful base that is also ornate.
