He exhibited at the Salon from 1878 to 1899; honorable mention in 1882.
His portraits have nothing to envy to the great classical painters. The framing is very photographic, the contrasts between light and shadow perfectly mastered, the drawing technique is at its highest level and always gives a great impression of softness.
