Charming painting featuring a family outdoors. In the foreground are three young girls picking flowers and a young boy riding a horse.
The parents are represented in the background in front of the house.
Signed L A. De Pellicot lower right under the dog.
Louis Alexis De Pellicot was a genre, interior, history and landscape painter in Paris.
Born in Digne in 1787, he was a pupil of Guérin and exhibited at the Salon from 1827.
Dated 1830 lower right. French school of the 19th century.
This painting was exhibited at the Salon des artistes français (exhibition number at the bottom left, under the dog).
Oil on canvas.
