"Trench Work Dagger - Copper - Ww1"
Copper Dagger Trench Craft. Most likely hewn from a copper plate. Unlike a dagger or a classic knife where the blade is inserted into the handle and then riveted, this one is in one piece. The notches made on the handle resemble the tip of a knife (see photo 3). We can assume that the soldier who made this dagger therefore used the tip of another knife to embellish his creation.
