Designer: Max Sauze
Max Sauze is a French sculptor and artist. He has turned conventional wisdom on its head by introducing new forms and innovative design techniques.
Sauze is known for his mastery of aluminium and his work with geometric shapes.
The artist has mainly designed lighting fixtures, including the iconic "Cassiopé" suspension lamp created in 1970 and a whole series of wall lamps and table lamps.
However, he also designed the "Isocèle" table and a range of furniture based on the same model, including our 3 display cabinets.
By the end of the 1960s, Sauze was enjoying worldwide success!
He took part in numerous exhibitions and sold his pieces in Europe. His success even crossed the Atlantic Ocean, as he sold his work in the United States and Canada.
His work has been exhibited at a number of prestigious venues in Paris, including the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, the Centre Pompidou and the Palais de la Découverte.
