Planter from the Napoleon III period (1852-1870) Floral marquetry decorations in beech and stained beech in an ebony surround separated by a rosewood in-between. Fluted legs connected by an X-shaped spacer embellished with a medallion adorned with fine floral marquetry. Interior zinc lining.
