Pair of chiseled and gilt bronze sconces with two sconces, the plate decorated with leafy pilasters surmounted by an eventful knot deploying two rudentée sconces. Binet and fluted bobèches with foliage decorations. Louis XVI style. Modern work. Height: 48cm. Maison TISSERANT "Ruban" model, referenced 24663 in the catalogue. Public price 1500€ (each!!). WHAT WE THINK: these wall lights are of very good quality, the gilding is really spectacular, they come from TISSERANT, so necessarily a guarantee of a very high level. Prestigious origin. They COME from the Meurice palace, rue de Rivoli? and adorned a suite on the 4th floor. Certainly they are 20th century but given the quality these wall lights can compete in terms of finish with the best models of the 18th and 19th centuries. DID YOU KNOW ?
