Pair of ASCOT lamps in gilded Nickel in an old gold style.
Period around 1960, Maison Lucien GAU in Paris (founded in 1860).

The materials are of high quality, the fake candles are in lacquered wood, the electrification is old but correct.
This pair of lamps is in good general condition, they are in their juice, some wear and tear from use and time, especially on the wooden candles, provide cleaning, no shock, no deformation (see photos).
The  original lampshades fixing have certainly been replaced.
