Louis XVI Bureau Plat In Marquetry

Louis XVI style flat desk in floral marquetry. Response on 4 black lacquered fluted legs enhanced with bronzes, in particular the hooves. Belt inlaid with floral motifs on all sides provided with a large drawer in front veneered with sycamore inside. The oblong tray is surrounded by a brass mold decorated with a frieze around the perimeter in foliage, scrolls and in its center, a marquetry of cornucopias filled with fruits and bouquets of flowers. Napoleon III period. The set is in excellent condition! A thick protective glass cut to the shape of the tray will be provided.
