Oil on canvas representing a beautiful young woman holding a mirror, a child playing on her shoulder, having fun covering her blond hair with that, jet black, of the young woman, and playing with her pearl necklace. In the background, behind the parapet of a balcony, hollyhocks. Signed lower right "Ch.Muller" Pupil of Coignet and Gros, he was a painter of history, genre, portraitist and decorator. .Several medals at the Salons of 1834,1838,1846,1848, and 1855. He was a member of the admission committee at the Universal Expo of 1878 65x50, without frame.
