"Olive Wood And Mother Of Pearl Altar Crucifix, 18th Century"

Crucifix in olive wood. Its front is adorned with carved mother-of-pearl and veneer. The cross featuring Christ is raised on a pedestal with a carved alcove. It houses the Holy Savior. The four evangelists - Mark, Matthew, John and Luke - and Mary are depicted on the branches of the cross. The fourteen Stations of the Cross are depicted on mother-of-pearl discs on the back of the crucifix. The mother-of-pearl decoration is slightly missing.
