Charles X Period Display Showcase

Very pretty and unusual little showcase from the Charles X period, in rosewood and lemon tree marquetry, for displaying small precious objects. One side is richly decorated with a cornucopia and lemon foliage. The doorposts are also inlaid with foliage, palmettes and medallions. This showcase being intended to be placed on a table (or a piece of furniture) against a wall, the back is just rosewood veneer, without decoration, with the keyhole. Piece completely restored and varnished with a buffer. The interior has been left in natural wood, ready to be covered with a coating of your choice. We have the old original cartonnage in tiers that lined the interior. Dimensions: 82 X 52 cm Height: 24 - 7 cm
