The pearl queen, neglected but crowned, wears the fashionable Spanish dress, dark blue, gold, lace and pearls, slashed sleeves, which we know from Rubens's paintings and all official paintings.
From the lower legend painted in gold, I seem to be able to decipher, although half erased: Ana María Mauricia de Austria. It could be a miniature of Spanish origin.
Condition, which seems primarky ruined, is in fact not so terrible, Face and bottom have suffered, it is true, but 65% of the miniature is almost intact: the superb costume, the beautiful still-life ;
Not having wanted to entrust it to a restorer to leave it all its authenticity, I had fun digitally smearing the portrait to give you an idea. Quality and beauty of this royal portrait from 4 centuries ago are prestigious.
