"Mo:alphonse Debain Sterling Silver Asparagus Tongs"
Asparagus tongs in solid silver, Minerva 1st title hallmark, 116 g, 950th MO: Alphonse Debain (AD hallmark and a woodcock) stamped in 1883 and crossed out in 1911. The cartouche on each side of the tongs, normally reserved for owners' monograms , is blank, unlike the one we have already sold here .. Moreover, this one is signed by the famous Bordeaux house SERVAN . You would think that this model of asparagus tongs is common: it is not so because it was patented by Debain himself.
