Very beautiful watercolor representing a young woman going to fetch water. Dimensions: 34.5 x 24 cm Frame: 56 x 45 cm The frame is in poor condition. Fernand Lematte was trained at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris in the studio of Alexandre Cabanel. He won the Grand Prix de Rome in 1870 with the Death of Messalina and stayed at the Villa Medici from 1871 to 1874. Shipping by MBE Rennes €50 for France
