"Chinese Export Porcelain Qianlong (1736-1795) 18th Century Blue And White Milk Jug"
A rare blue and white milk jug with an exceptional decoration.
Qianlong period (1736-1795).

The pear-shaped milk jug finely handpainted in underglaze blue with a depiction of two roosters and a figure, probably doing Kung fu or Tai Chi exercises. Set against the backdrop of a natural landscape with a bridge, trees and a house. The upper rim with a honeycomb patterned border.

Provenance: 
From a private Dutch collection.

Dimensions:
Height 9.5 cm, width with handle ca. 9.5 cm, depth ca. 7 cm.

Condition (DM for more condition pictures):
The inside of the upper mouth rim with a baking flaw resulting in a faint hairline of ca. 2 cm (not noticeable on the inside).
