"Oriental Vases"
Magnificent pair of oriental porcelain vases decorated with bright colors, blue and red, on which are framed bouquets of peonies and central scenes in grisaille with country motifs and characters crossing a bridge. They are decorated on both sides with different patterns and made by hand. The base and side handles are in gilt mercury bronze, with vegetal motifs, leaves and branches of plants, ending in rush flowers at the top. The quality of the porcelain and the bronzes as well as their large size (46 cm) make them very decorative pieces. The bronzes are marked on the base of the initials of the craftsman TPG
