Painter from Toulouse, Eugène Claude moved to Paris to study the art. He participated in the Salon from 1861 and obtained an honorable mention in 1885 and a third class medal in 1887 and 1889. His work is present in the museums of Algiers, Amiens, Calais, Mulhouse, Reims, and Toulouse. Mainly known for his baskets of fruit or generous flowers, Eugène Claude offers us here a view of the roofs from his studio in Asnières, offering an intimate and charming panorama.
