Exceptional fully lacquered wooden scriban dating from the very end of the 19th century, beginning of the 20th century (around 1900). This lovely piece of furniture has two bodies, in molded and carved wood. It is lacquered green decorated with foliage, fantastic birds, and bouquets of flowers. The upper part opens with two leaves giving way to a library space, composed of three modular shelves. There are also two small drawers on the bottom. The lower part is composed of three large chest of drawers, as well as a flap leaving once open a desk space, with four drawers and a large niche. This scriban is very richly lacquered, with great artistic quality. On the flap and on the upper cornice part, we have moldings and moldings in gilded wood. This piece of furniture has its key that works. This scriban is in good condition, note some wear and natural cracks of time that do not detract from its charm. Also note a slight lack on the right front foot. Dimensions: 238cm high, 106cm wide, and 53cm deep.
