Student of P.Braeke and H.Ottevaere at the Academy of Saint Josse. He will then go to the Academy of Brussels (1897). He stayed in Provence, near Saint-Tropez, then returned to settle and settle in his native Belgium (Auderghem, Brussels). He was in the wake of the Brabançon impressionists. His very worked light painting, the material posed in broad strokes, is post-impressionist. The Pont Marie connects Île Saint Louis to the Town Hall by crossing the Seine.
