"Putto With Two Arms Of Light 18th Century"
Beautiful carved wooden decorative element representing a small child with two sconces from the 18th century. The body of the putto is made in three parts: the head, the bust and the lower part made from a single piece of wood, the two arms are independent but fixed. Each hand carries a removable torch, in carved wood in the Louis XVI style, old slot on each visible candlestick which does not alter their solidity. Very few remains of polychromy but a beautiful general patina for this charming decorative object. The wood (ash?) is healthy, rather clear and dense. A metal clip in the back allows the suspension. Delivery: 20€ for metropolitan France.
