This service with polychrome decoration of Alsatian characters was created by Hansi, pseudonym of the Alsatian artist Jean-Jacques Waltz (1873-1951). The Hansi service was offered in 1921 for subscription sale in the review Les Annales.
In May 1925, this journal still offered this service for sale.
The majority of the 150 drawings in this service were specially created originals and are not found in his books.
You can admire Hansi's works at the Museum dedicated to him in Colmar.
Technique - transfer printing.
Diameter - 22 cm.
Condition - No chips, cracks or restorations.
