Pinfire revolver from the manufacturer "JANSEN & FRS", 19th century, around 1870-80. Deluxe version, nickel-plated, walnut stock. Barrel with octagonal section sides carrying barleycorn type sight. Smooth barrel without fluting of 6 shots in caliber 9 mm, with its loading door rising upwards and locked at the bottom by a leaf spring. Curved smooth trigger under oval trigger guard fixed to the frame by 2 screws. Double action lock with raised volute crest hammer with slight checkering and a flat striker. Nail head type lateral extraction rod, mounted in a housing. Mechanism in perfect working order. Butt in polished walnut and with a cap bearing a ring. Hallmarks "JF" on the left side of the barrel for Jansen & Frêres and starred "L" right side. Hallmark on barrel: starry "ELG" in an oval and starry "L".
