A Napoléon III chimneypiece, finely shaped in soft-nuance grey-bleu marble: Bleu Fleuri.
The shelf is double moulded.
The frieze is centered with a panel-cartouche and all is supported by massive consoles.
Bleu Fleuri is a rare marble and it takes his name from the freshness of its tint.
Used for the same purpose as Bleu Turquin, but its of a greater luxury.
The Bleu Fleuri marble is sold in the 19th century at the same price as the Brèche Violet.
