Subjects in spelter with brown patina, titled "Fisherman" and "Fisherwoman", by the French sculptor Georges Maxim (1885-1940) known as Geo. Max. The first subject is a fisherman, equipped with a fishing rod, his pants and sleeves rolled up, staring at the fish he holds firmly in his hand. The second subject represents a fisherwoman dressed in a beautiful and long dress, holding a landing net and carrying a large tray filled with the few trophies that the sea will have kindly ceded to this happy couple. Each of these sculptures rests on a circular wooden plinth with a groove.
