Coffee Table, Maison Jansen – 1940

This rectangular coffee table from the French Maison Jansen is characterized by its two smoked glass tops in perfect condition. These are set in a refined frame and held by four nickel-plated metal feet, crowned in the upper part with a torch. They are chiselled with fine grooves and end in becoming more elegant. Maison Jansen, an illustrious French interior design company enjoying great international renown, is known for its luxurious models. It produced this table in pure neoclassical style in the 1950s.
