"Small Louis XV Period Wall Console Attributed To Jean Popsel"
 
Its crossbow movement front opens with a drawer inlaid with butterfly wing rosewood framed in kingwood. Its curved sides are also inlaid with rosewood, also framed with kingwood.
This console rests on four curved legs inlaid with a fluting in rosewood framed in kingwood. Its gilded bronze trim includes falls, clogs, entrance, handles and apron.
Its red flanders marble top is contoured and molded with a bec-de-corbin. Parisian work attributed to Jean Popsel, born in 1720 and received master on July 5, 1755.
