Grand Ghoum rug (Iran). 248 x 152 cm, Woolen velvet on cotton foundations. Midnight blue field forming the central medallion with volutes of sprigs of polychrome flowers encrusted with a central ruby floral rosette. Four ivory spandrels with flower crowns. Four borders including the main ruby with seedlings of multicolored floral buttons and bulbs. 20th century Good general condition.
